The world is enriched with many diverse civilizations, and China stands out as one of the countries with the longest history and the most ancient culture. The Chinese nation, with its long-standing fine traditional culture, has emphasized openness and inclusiveness since ancient times. Chinese civilization has always appreciated mutual understanding and respect among different civilizations.

China's enduring history has imbued Chinese civilization with profound depth. The Chinese culture, both historical and contemporary, belongs to China and is shared and appreciated by the world. A wealth of wisdom within Chinese culture bears not only practical value, but also global significance, as it is the common treasure that should be shared with all of humanity.

The world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, where cultural communication, integration, and conflict among different cultures have become more prevalent and noticeable than ever. In the new era, China has carried out a series of cultural diplomacy events to share appealing stories of its fine traditional culture to the world, facilitating exchanges and mutual learning while also helping to reach consensus and lay a cultural foundation for building a community with a shared future.

Civilization nourishes people in a soft and quiet way. In recent years, a series of people-to-people exchanges such as the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Chengdu Summer Universiade, the Hangzhou Asian Games, and the "Meet in Beijing" Olympic Cultural Festival, have shown the inclusiveness of Chinese culture time after time. The Palace Museum has hosted the "Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles: Exchanges Between China and France in the 17th and 18th Centuries" exhibition. Other great exhibitions such as the "Exhibition on Civilization during the Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty" and "The Flame of Civilization — Digital Art Exhibition of the National Research Project to Trace the Origins of Chinese Civilization" were presented overseas many times. Chinese language, writing, literature, art, clothing, etiquette, tea culture, and martial arts have all spread widely across the globe, gaining popularity. The global influence and appeal of Chinese culture is rising, and China's image as a credible, lovable and respectable nation is becoming more pronounced, taking root in people's hearts.
