A strong core of leadership has been forged for the great undertaking of national rejuvenation.

Through full and rigorous self-governance in the new era, the CPC has found a further answer to the question of how to escape the cycle of rise and fall. This has made our Party stronger, more united, and more vibrant. Our Party's political leadership, ideological guidance, mass organization, and social appeal have all increased significantly, and the bond between the Party and the people has grown stronger.

The rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is now on an irreversible historical course.

In the first decade of the new era, we have not only realized the First Centenary Goal, but also successfully advanced and expanded the path of Chinese modernization. Our socialist system has become more mature and well-defined. This has provided a more solid material basis, a stronger institutional guarantee, and more powerful inspiration for achieving national rejuvenation, which is now on an irreversible course.

The Chinese people have demonstrated greater self-confidence, self-reliance, and strength.

Thanks to the achievements of the past decade, especially the building of a moderately prosperous society on schedule to realize a millennia-old dream of the Chinese nation, our national self-confidence and pride have been greatly increased. The Chinese people are also much more confident in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and have a firmer sense of purpose, fortitude, and self-belief.

China has provided strong positivity for world peace and development.

In the first decade of the new era, China moved closer to the center of the world stage. It contributed about 30 percent of annual global economic growth and accounted for over 70 percent of the reduction in global poverty.

The vision of building a global community of shared future has been widely endorsed internationally, and our country has become a primary engine driving global conservation. Public goods such as the Belt and Road Initiative have provided strong support for global development.

China has promoted and practiced the shared values of humanity, upheld international fairness and justice, opposed hegemonism and power politics, and safeguarded the interests of developing countries.

It has advanced and expanded Chinese modernization, which extends beyond the logic of Western modernization, and created a new model of human progress through coordinated material, political, cultural, social, and ecological advancement to offer a new choice for developing countries.

In conclusion, the great changes of the first decade of the new era have been monumental in the history of our Party, the People’s Republic of China, reform and opening up, and the development of socialism and that of the Chinese nation. They have had a strong impact on global development and laid a more solid political, theoretical, material, and institutional foundation for realizing the Second Centenary Goal and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
