Innovative cooperation on new industrial revolution

BRICS countries have deepened innovative cooperation on the new industrial revolution for achieving sustainable development goals in a stronger, healthier and more resilient manner.
BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution innovation center was launched in the Chinese city of Xiamen in December 2020. At the center's inauguration ceremony on Dec 8, 2020, 28 projects with a total investment of over 13.4 billion yuan ($2.07 billion) were signed by BRICS enterprises.
The center has hosted talent training, think tank seminars and industrial innovation competitions. According to the data from the municipal government of Xiamen, the innovation center has built seven new-industrial-revolution enabling platforms, and launched the first batch of 39 new-industrial-revolution demonstration projects.
