Zhu Huarong, NPC deputy and chairman of Changan Auto
Zhu said China's intelligent connected vehicle industry needs laws and regulations to further promote its development, including helping identify the liable party of autonomous vehicles in accidents. Zhu suggested that the government strengthen guidance, roll out regulations and unify standards, to accelerate industry cooperation and break down data barriers. Zhu also said that the government can consider reasonably relaxing the automobile data security and privacy protection requirements, establish credible automobile data circulation channels, and promote the development of intelligent connected vehicles while meeting the data security requirements.
