Brazilian live-streamer and her Chinese New Year memory in China
SHENYANG -- Daniela Sena, who has been living in China for 11 years, now works as a live-streamer on a cross-border e-commerce company in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Her daily work mainly includes selling Chines goods to overseas buyers via live streaming. For Daniela, Spring Festival has become an important window to experience Chinese tradition and customs, during which she likes to give hongbao (red envelopes) to small kids. "During the Spring Festival, elderly people will give red envelopes to younger ones. Now, I will give this 'lucky money' to my family and friends as well," Daniela said.
In addition to giving red envelopes, wearing new year clothes, pasting Spring Festival couplets and eating dumplings also draw her attention during the Spring Festival season.
