Xi extends congratulations on 80th anniversary of overseas broadcasting services

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the event and delivered remarks.
Huang urged efforts to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, carry forward fine traditions, take the initiative to shoulder the mission of international communication, and globally share China's path, ideas, and proposals via radio and the internet.
On Dec. 3, 1941, the Yan'an Xinhua Radio Station launched a broadcasting service in Japanese, marking the start of the Chinese people's overseas broadcasting services.
